    DYNO TEST RESULTS
    2012 Kawasaki KX250F
    Close to 1/2HP Increase

    Dyno test were performed with results that show gains in both horsepower and torque when the Vertex Crossfire spark plug was compared side by side with a leading brand spark plug. Dyno results show up to just under a 1/2HP gain just by simply installing the Vertex Crossfire spark plug.  The increase is significant with just a simple spark plug change and the cost per gain in power and performance is minimal. Easier starting, better running and an increase in horsepower for a minimal cost should get everyone's attention.  The numbers are here for your review to show the Vertex Crossfire plugs do make a positive improvement.

    DirtWerkz Track Test

    We performed a track test of the Vertex Crossfire Spark Plug with a 2002 Yamaha YZ250.

    Summary: 02 Yamaha YZ250 MX Track Tested with a used plug, new stock plug and a Vertex Crossfire Plug.

    Used Stock Spark Plug
    - Bike would start 2nd - 4th kick when cold.
    - Bike seemed to run well with no noticeable issues
    - Bike would start 1st 3rd kick when warm
     

    New Stock Spark Plug
    - Bike would start on 1st 2nd kick when cold
    - Bike seemed to run smoother and crisper than compared to the used spark plug
    - Bike would start 1st 2nd kick when warm
     

    New Vertex Crossfire Spark Plug
    - Bike would start on 1st kick when cold
    - Bike seemed to run great and even smoother, crisper and perkier when compared to the new stock plug. It felt like the bike had more power or in other words that it just appeared to run so much better it felt like it had more power but this is by the seat of pants. The bike just seemed to come alive.
    - Bike would start 1st kick when warm

    Summary
    There were differences between all three plugs. The difference between the used stock plug and new stock plug was better starting and smoother running. When we added the Vertex Crossfire spark plug the bike started right up every time and just seemed to come alive and run very well with a smooth crispy lively feel. The bike felt like it had more power and there was a noticeable difference in how the bike performed and that it was running much better.  We would recommend this spark plug to friends and customers.
